Description
Don’t let rain dampen your plans. The Torrentshell 3L Jacket from Patagonia offers superior protection with its 3-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell. Constructed with a 50-denier ECONYL® recycled ripstop nylon face and a polyurethane (PU) membrane containing 13% bio-based content, this jacket is as eco-friendly as it is durable. The PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish ensures water beads up on the surface, keeping you dry in even the harshest conditions.
Designed with practicality in mind, the 2-way adjustable hood features a laminated visor that rolls down and stows neatly with a simplified cord-and-hook design. The microfleece-lined neck adds extra comfort and protection from the elements with a waterproof/breathable barrier. Snag-free center-front zippers with external and internal stormflaps and a zipper garage chin guard provide additional rain protection.
For extra ventilation, pit zips with welted exterior storm flaps allow you to release heat during high exertion. The jacket also features 2 handwarmer pockets, self-fabric hook-and-loop cuff closures, and an adjustable drawcord hem to seal out precipitation and ensure a snug fit. When you’re not using it, simply stuff the jacket into its left handwarmer pocket with the included carabiner clip-in loop for easy storage.
