Frequently asked questions
What is Hydroshell?
Berghaus's own waterproof-breathable fabric family. The brand describes lightweight 2-layer constructions for walking, Hydroshell Elite for tougher terrain, and per-product builds such as the Fast Hike's documented 2.5-layer version. It publishes no numerical waterproof rating for the platform.
Is the Berghaus lifetime guarantee a lifetime warranty?
It covers the product's reasonable lifetime, not yours. Expected lifetime varies by product and usage, and the terms allow repair to be refused when a product cannot be repaired.
