Mountain Equipment states "70-denier breathable GORE-TEX ePE fabric" in the description of product ME-008728 on both its UK and US pages. The same pages' 'Features & Certification' panel uses Gore's generic GORE-TEX text ("based on a bicomponent membrane"), which describes the older ePTFE construction rather than ePE. We record ME's product-specific ePE statement as the manufacturer claim and show this conflict; we have no Gore document confirming the laminate for this exact product.
